Wisdom University is currently developing a more full spectrum approach to its learning offerings. As part of this new direction, we are committed to providing ways for our students and wisdom seekers of all ages to come together and explore key questions and topics of significant relevance to these times and our capacity to co-create resilient learning communities locally and globally.

We know that engaging as a community in purposeful dialogue is a key factor to creating resilience. The wisdom we seek as we face unprecedented challenges and unparalleled potential will not come from a few teachers or leaders, but will instead emerge from the collective heart and mind of learning communities like ours. There are no experts to guide us home from here, only the wisdom that emerges from community coherence.

It is in the spirit of gathering around a central fire that we invite to you to join with us in this communal exploration.

Voices of Wisdom Broadcasts

To seed our community dialogues, we will interview key colleagues who have delved deeply into the topics and questions we are exploring and invite them to share their insights and experiences as well as reveal the deep questions that continue to guide their own discovery process.

These interviews will be posted on the website at regularly scheduled intervals so you can listen to the broadcasts at a time that works best for you.

Community Dialogues

These informative, inspiring, and thought provoking broadcasts will be followed by opportunities for community exploration and dialogue in Local Wisdom Circles, Live Global Teleconference Calls, and online blogs and forums.

Our “dialogues around the fire” Global Teleconference Calls will be scheduled at set intervals each month for easy planning into your schedule. Our hope is that these calls become a gathering place where students and interested wisdom seekers can regularly come together to ask questions, share unique insights, be inspired by the insights of others, and feel nourished by a true sense of community.

From these dialogues, we envision that a wealth of wisdom will naturally emerge from within the community. We are designing a space so these Words of Wisdom can be shared through images, written and spoken word and music.

We will be posting more information on how to access the VOW Broadcast and participate in the community dialogues soon. We plan to launch in January 2012.
